Hiromi Yokoyama, Doctor of Science, is an associate professor at University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Science. With a Ph.D. in elementary particle neutrino, Yokoyama is currently engaged in the study of science communication. She is also involved in a number of related activities, such as lectures and writing, that connect society with science. Yokoyama won the Japanese Association of Science & Technology Journalists’ 2007 Science Journalist Award for her work “The Story of Light and People.”
