The manual soldering process
.Hold the soldering iron and solder wire ready. Check the location where the joint is to be made through a stereoscopic microscope.
.Touch the tip of the soldering iron against the land on the circuit board and the component's leads to heat them up.
.When you judge that the temperature is right, starting feeding in the solder wire to melt it.
.When you judge that sufficient solder is in place, stop feeding in the solder wire but continue applying heat until the solder spreads out.
.When the solder has spread out sufficiently, remove the soldering iron.
.The formation of a fillet represents the completion of the soldering.
