"Your Photo. Your Right." is a project aimed at social education on copyright in the context of photography, which was launched by Nikon Polska in 2011. The main goal is to raise awareness of copyright in society. A dedicated website "fotoprawo.pl" explains the law relating to intellectual property in photos and offers solutions for the protection of photographers' work. The website also provides visitors with legal explanation and visual content depicting the most troublesome issues and common violations of copyright law, as well as written advice and short videos. The project is dedicated to everyone involved in the world of photography - from amateurs to professionals and businesses.

Our responsibilities as a company involved with photography: Nikon Polska is engaged in a number of educational initiatives. We understand that knowledge is paramount in the development of individuals and society. As a leader of the photographic market we feel it is a part of our obligations. We decided to launch the "Your Photo. Your Right" project because we noticed copyright law in Poland is quite often breached simply because of a lack of awareness.
Our action is directed at a broad audience - to anyone who takes photos and everyone who needs them. We are convinced that inspiring people to discuss copyright issues is extremely important to the future of photography in Poland. Educational activities contribute to the development of a new photographic culture, and Nikon should be the main driver of this new movement.
