5. Total support for worldwide IC production

Nikon IC steppers/scanners are used not only in Japan, but throughout the world. Since 1980 when Nikon released the first Japanese-made IC stepper, the NSR-1010G, Nikon has shipped an accumulated total of more than 7,900 units worldwide. In 2011, Nikon captured a 20% (estimated) share of the global IC stepper/scanner market.
With offices in Japan and many locations around the globe in North America, Europe and Asia, Nikon is building close partnerships with the major semiconductor manufacturers of the world.
