Masayasu Sawada, Nikon Fellow

Masayasu Sawada joined Nikon Systems Inc. in 1991. Since then, he has been dealing with numerous technical tasks by utilizing mathematical analysis, applying his knowledge of high-grade mathematics and other extensive skills. His outstanding talents have been employed at Nikon in various fields – in the development of products and the company's production equipment, including IC and LCD steppers and scanners, and imaging products – with great success.

Sawada held office as the Manager of the Mathematical Analysis Department from 1997 until March 2011. Following this, he has vigorously continued his activities, engaging in new technology development, while providing technical seminars as well, making good use of his expertise in mathematical analysis. He has been a Nikon Fellow since 2011.
