Establishment of Nikon Instruments Korea Co., Ltd.

Nikon Corporation (Teruo SHIMAMURA, President & COO) has announced today the establishment of Nikon Instruments Korea Co., Ltd. as Nikon subsidiary in Seoul, Korea and will officially start operations on April 1, 2005. This company will handle sales, marketing and after-sales service of microscopes and measuring instruments for the Korean market.
Following Nikon Instruments Shanghai Co., Ltd. established in 2003, Nikon Instruments Korea Co., Ltd. will be the third Nikon Corporation's in Asian subsidiary dealing with Nikon Instruments products. The establishment of this new company will make it possible to further increase sales in the country.
