Notice of Organizational and Personnel Changes

The organizational structure has been modified today and the main modifications are as follows:

Major changes and objectives
- Business Administration Center
- To enhance functionality and improve operational efficiency
The former Procurement Department and Facilities Management Department have been merged into the new Procurement & Facilities Management Department.

- Core Technology Center
- To more effectively formulate the Nikon group's technological strategies
The Office of Corporate Technology Management and Core Technology Center's Planning Department have merged into the new Corporate Technology Management Department of Core Technology Center.
- To strengthen the development of lens production/engineering technologies and the production equipment technology, further improve management's operational efficiency and more efficiently utilize facilities
The former Lens Production Department of Production Technology Headquarters of Core Technology Center, Precision Equipment Company's Lens Engineering Development Department of Development Headquarters and Lens Production Department of Production Headquarters have been merged into the new Lens Engineering Development Department and Lens Production Department of Production Technology Headquarters of Core Technology Center.
The former Production Engineering Department of Production Technology Headquarters of Core Technology Center and Production Equipment Development Department of Development Headquarters of Precision Equipment Company have been merged into the new Production Engineering Department of Production Technology Headquarters of Core Technology Center.

The new Glass Division has been established
The new Planning & Development Department of the Glass Division has been established. Moreover, a portion of the Lens Engineering Development Department of Development Headquarters of Precision Equipment Company has moved into this new division.
The Glass Production Department of Production Headquarters of Precision Equipment Company has moved into the Glass Division and the name has been changed to the Production Department.
