September 2, 2002
TOKYO - Nikon Corporation is pleased to announce the introduction of the LiteTouch Zoom 110s on August 30, 2002. (Already announced in the US market in June.)
Inheriting many of the design aspects of the latest Nikon LiteTouch-series and OneTouch Nikon compact cameras, the LiteTouch Zoom 110s is a camera of sophisticated design with a combination of Nikon quality, portability and convenience that is certain to strengthen the Nikon Touch Zoom series lineup.
The new camera targets picture-takers who are looking for a compact telephoto zoom camera at a reasonable price, combined with ease of use and sophisticated design.
The LiteTouch Zoom 110s's slim body houses a powerful 2.9x (38-110mm) zoom lens with protective sliding lens cover. Simplified zoom operation makes it easier to shoot everything from open sweeping landscapes to intimate close-ups. The built-in flash comes with four modes for greater flash shooting creativity. And fully automatic operation makes for easier film loading, rewinding, and various other functions.
The LiteTouch Zoom 110s QD model comes with a date and time imprint function, and can be used with optional remote controller ML-L3.
