EISA Declares Nikon Lite-Touch Zoom 140ED "European Compact Camera of the Year 2002-2003"

TOKYO -- Nikon Corporation is pleased to announce that the Nikon 35mm compact camera Lite•Touch Zoom 140ED has been declared “European Compact Camera of the Year 2002-2003” by the Photo Panel of EISA.

EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) is an awards panel made up of editors-in-chief and technical editors from the largest general circulation photo-journals in 20 European countries.

In its official statement, EISA said “The Nikon Lite•Touch Zoom 140 ED is a seductive blend of good handling, long zoom and picture quality that beats most competition in this class. Its 38-140mm lens is sharp, and displays minimal vignetting at all focal lengths.
