Notice on Dissolution and Liquidation of Subsidiary Corporation

At the meeting of the Board of Directors of Nikon Corporation on March 29, 2002, a decision was made to dissolve Sagami Optical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, on June 30, 2002, as detailed below.
- Reason of dissolution
Sagami Optical Co., Ltd. was established in September 1990 to handle primarily high-precision processing of plane optical glass and polishing of glass disk substrate.
